Westbound Indiana Toll Road lanes shut down due to incident near Howe-LaGrange toll plaza
The westbound lanes of the Indiana Toll Road near the 118.9 mile marker, in western LaGrange County, are shut down due to an incident on Friday evening but now drivers can get by on the left shoulder.
The Indiana Toll Road tweeted around 5:30 p.m. that the incident happened in the westbound lanes of the toll road, between the 107 Middlebury Toll Plaza and the Howe-LaGrange Toll Plaza.
The eastbound passing lane reopened around 6:15 p.m. but all westbound lanes remain closed.
Emergency crews are at the scene and drivers should expect delays.
As of 7:23 pm, according to a post on the Indiana Toll Roads twitter, traffic can now get by on the left shoulder
