Indiana Michigan Power may raise residential rates by 22.7 percent

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A public hearing on the proposed rate hike by Indiana Michigan Power is happening right now.
I&M wants to raise residential rates by almost 25 percent.
Commercial rates could go up to 10 percent.
Tuesday night's meeting is at Century Center in South Bend.
