Indiana has 26,655 cases of COVID-19, 1,550 deaths

The Indiana State Department of Health announced there are 614  new cases of COVID-19 and 42 deaths.

There are a total of 26,655 cases and 1,550 Hoosiers have died.

To date, 165,448 tests have been reported to the department.

Intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remains steady. Just over 39 percent of ICU beds and 80 percent of ventilators were available as of Friday.

Marion County had the most new cases, at 202.

Other counties with more than 10 new cases were Allen (60), Bartholomew (12), Delaware (18), Elkhart (21), Hamilton (10), Hendricks (15), Lake (64), Morgan (13), St. Joseph (24) and Tippecanoe (13).

  • Elkhart Co.: 609 cases, 22 deaths
  • Fulton Co.: 39 cases, 1 death
  • Kosciusko Co.: 55 cases, 1 death, 20 recovered
  • La Grange Co.:  48 cases, 2 deaths
  • La Porte Co.: 352 cases, 14 deaths
  • Marshall Co.: 39 cases, 1 death
  • Pulaski Co.: 34 cases
  • St. Joseph Co.: 921 cases, 33 deaths, 292 recovered
  • Starke Co.: 26 cases, 2 deaths
