CASS COUNTY, Ind.—A 50-year-old Illinois man has passed away following a June 8 water accident near Donnell Lake Street, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Parish W. Swanson, 50, of Aurora, Illinois passed away due to injuries sustained in the incident.
Police do not suspect any foul play or suspicious intent and the investigation has been closed and ruled an accidental death.
Around 4:31 p.m. on June 8 near the 17000 block of Donnell Lake St. in Penn Twp., Swanson was playing with his sons on a dock near the lake when he was pushed into the lake and spent a brief, unknown amount of time under water before his sons could bring him up, police said.
