NOW: Icy morning commute, Bitter cold Weekend

ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Thursday, December 11th, 2025

Expect black ice and slick spots on your morning commute due to refreezing overnight. Bridges, overpasses, side/rural roads will likely have the worst conditions. Thanks to plow/salt trucks servicing roads overnight, main roads are a bit better, but be aware of localized slick spots. Give yourself extra time this morning to clean off your car window and for potential delays. Flurries continue through the morning hours but will have little to low impact overall.

Temperatures will start off in the teens and 20s this morning and won't get too much warmer by afternoon. Highs will struggle to reach the 30s today. This weekend is very cold, with highs only reaching the teens and lows in the single digits. Wind chill values will likely reach below zero. Lake effect snow chances return this weekend as well, bringing 2+ inches of snow in areas near the lake Saturday through Sunday. Forecast models indicate that temperatures will warm next week and peak above freezing.

Today: Mostly cloudy, scattered snow. High 26.

Tonight: Few flurries possible overnight. Cold. Low 16.

Friday: Mostly cloudy. High 28.
