Indiana Michigan Power is providing $400,000 to Community Action agencies in Indiana.
Some of that money, $250,000, will go toward helping low-income families pay their seasonal energy bills between this year and next year.
The rest will go toward helping qualified families weatherize their homes to be more energy-efficient.
If you would like to apply, contact the Community Action agency that serves you area.
For central Indiana, that's REAL Services. Visit its website or contact them at (574) 233-8205.
