ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Humane Society of Saint Joseph County announced they're waiving adoption fees for cats and dogs six months and older from now until Feb. 16.

Officials invite community members to open their hearts and homes to a furry friend in need this Valentine's Day.

Valentine’s Adoption Special fees:

• Dogs (six months and older): Waived fee
• Cats (six months and older): Waived fee
• Kittens (under six months): 50 percent off ($50)
• Puppies (under six months): 50 percent off ($125)

To adopt, you must submit an approved adoption application and then schedule an adoption appointment.
