The heat and humidity will return on Sunday, with highs climbing back into the 90s. Clouds will begin to build overnight ahead of a system that brings showers and storms Monday afternoon and evening. There is a low-end risk for some storms to turn severe.
A cold front will move through Monday night, bringing cooler air and dropping temperatures into the 80s along with more comfortable humidity. However, temperatures begin to rise again heading toward Independence Day. Rain chances return by the end of the week.
Tonight: Clear, mild. Low 66.
Sunday: Mostly Sunny, hot. High 92.
