Temperatures warm through midweek, nearing 90 degrees by Wednesday and Thursday. Smoke from Canadian and western U.S. wildfires will haze the sky, and create orange hued sunsets through Wednesday. Tropical Storm Francine is of interest to our area, as it is expected to tack up the Mississippi river by the end of the week. Major impacts are not expected but it does bring a change for the weekend; increasing clouds and a chance of rain. The region is likely to trend into drought this week, and significant rainfall is still skeptical. The best chance of rain will be scattered showers, Saturday night through Sunday.
Tonight: Clear. Low 52.
Tuesday: Sunny. High 86.
Wednesday: Sunny. High 90.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. 91
