The dry streak continues across Michiana today with mostly sunny skies overhead and temperatures near 90 degrees later this afternoon. Dewpoints remain in the mid 60s today with a drier heat expected to round out the week. Saturday kicks off on a hotter and more humid note than today while maintaining abundant sunshine during the day. A weak frontal boundary is expected to gradually move in from the west late Saturday night, prompting some thunderstorm development. While key ingredients for thunderstorms won't be widely available tomorrow night, storms that are able to form will intensify quickly to strong or even severe levels. The first round of rain ends Sunday morning, returning Michiana to another day of hot and humid weather. Showers and storms restart in the second half of Monday.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 90.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 71.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 92.
Sunday: AM showers. High 90.
