UPDATE (9:18 p.m.): The South Bend Police Department have confirmed that two deceased adults have been found, with no obvious signs of foul play.
The violent crimes unit is investigating, with an autopsy to be performed within the next few days.
There is said to be no additional threat to public safety.
We will update as we confirm more.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A heavy police presence has been dispatched to the 200 block of Birdsell Street for a call that came in at approximately 7:04 p.m.
This is still an active scene, and it is asked that the public avoid the area.
ABC57 is not yet able to confirm the reasoning for the police presence.
