Pop-up storms this afternoon and evening, Cooler and drier tomorrow
The hottest weather so far this season, arrives by the weekend. Tuesday will be hot but it's only a preview of Saturday and Sunday. Wednesday will focus on thunderstorms; morning showers will determine if/when storms develop in the afternoon/evening. The boom scenario is a line of strong storms Wednesday evening, that would produce damaging wind gusts. The finer details are still TBD but stay tuned. Thursday is a mild day if you need to get yard work done before it gets hot, and very humid this weekend. A heat related weather alert may be warranted as the heat index could near 100 by Sunday.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 66.
Tuesday: Isolated storms. High 88.
Wednesday: Thunderstorms. High 84.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 80.
