The heat and humidity continue for Michiana and it's not done yet. A slight chance for an afternoon pop-up storm is possible, but likely most of Michiana will stay dry through the day today. Saturday, we start to reach the peak, with heat index values in the upper 90s. Sunday sees similar conditions to Saturday though clouds are expected to gather through the afternoon in front of scattered shower and storm chances overnight and into the beginning of the week. Monday has chances for scattered storms in front of a frontal system that will likely bring widespread rain Tuesday, though the system will likely be losing steam as it reaches Michiana. Shower chances continue into the middle of the week, with temperatures cooling slightly, but still staying above average for this time of year.
Today: Hot, humid, slight chance for a stray afternoon shower. High 88.
Tonight: Warm, some clouds. Low 70.
Saturday: Hot, humid, sunny. High 91.
Sunday: Gathering clouds, hot and humid. High 91.
