SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Healthwin Clinic in South Bend held an event on Friday called “Festival of Trees.” The Festival celebrates Christmas and encourages residents and families to get into the holiday spirit.
There is a silent auction where people can bid on 4-foot-tall decorative trees.
There are 16 total decorative trees. The auction lasts until November 17.
“We decorate the whole building and the residents, when they see them, smile and you can see it in their eyes,” John Paczesny said, who helped coordinate the Festival. That’s what it’s all about. It’s for the residents and the family members who come here.”
Healthwin will also feature Christmas-themed stores.
All the money will go to special projects at Healthwin and the resident council.
