Celebratory gunfire a dangerous trend on New Years
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Hannah's Helping Hands hosted a free coat giveaway for children in need on Saturday at the Aloft Hotel in downtown South Bend. Children browsed a variety of coat styles and enjoyed pizza and candy during the event.
The event, organized by Hannah's Helping Hands, welcomed all children to select winter coats at no cost. Attendees also enjoyed pizza and candy. Tamara Hidalgo, founder and mother of Hannah Hidalgo, spoke to ABC57 about the organization's mission and upcoming initiatives.
