Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Schurz Communications is the apparent victim of an email hacking scam that cost the company more than $380,000. According to Mishawaka Police logs, hackers targeted the company's banking emails and stole "over $380,000" on January, 28th.
A corporate spokesperson confirmed the report but would not go into any detail about the crime. Company heads were having a meeting about the incident this morning and tell ABC57, they reported the incident to police and their insurance.
The investigation is ongoing.
