Granger man sentenced to 30 years for production of child pornography

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—A Granger man was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for producing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Jonathan Kassay, 50, of Granger, was sentenced to 30 years in prison with five years supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $12,219.04 in restitution.

In 2017, Kassay used minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child pornography, according to court documents.
