SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Graff Bash is back!
In anticipation for Graff Bash 2023, ABC57's Gordy Young spoke with Graff Bash's founder Alex Vangalder.
Last year's Graff Bash featured murals from featured artists around the city, but this year's fest is amplified.
As Vangalder was organizing artists, a neighboring business reached out about wanting graffiti art on their walls as well, so Graff Bash artists doubled in size from six to 12.
Graff Bash's fundraiser occurs Friday, August 25 at 7 p.m. at the Hop Station Craft Bar in Mishawaka.
The fundraiser supports the graffiti artists, performing artists and marketing for the event.
At Graff Bash 2023, live artists will create as well as prints, canvas and photos by Quincey Firestone Photos.
There will also be live music, food, vendors and free admission for kids.
Graff Bash takes place Saturday, September 9 through Sunday, September 10 at Rio Park Event Center (3028 E. Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615).
You can purchase a $10 ticket or choose to donate any amount through Ticket Stripe.
