During his weekly press conference, Governor Eric Holcomb announced the state will move forward to Stage 5 on Saturday. The mask mandate will stay in effect until October 17.
Moving to stage 5 means the size limitations on gatherings are lifted, but if you want to have a gathering of more than 500 people, you will need approval from your local county.
Bars, restaurants and night clubs will be able to reopen at full capacity.
In addition, nursing homes will be allowed to accept visitors.
The governor says the state will re-evaluate on October 17 to make sure the numbers continue to trend downward.
