Goshen Street Department offers free sandbags to prevent possible flooding

GOSHEN, Ind. -- The City of Goshen announced via Facebook, due to the flood watch warning, sandbags will be available at the Goshen Street Department office.

City officials urge residents to take necessary precautions to protect homes and properties.

The Street Department is providing residents with free sandbags to assist with flood prevention efforts.

Officials say the bags are prefilled.

The Goshen Street Department is located at 475 Steury Ave. in Goshen.

Officials say sandbags will be available into Tuesday evening past normal office hours.
