Goshen announces temporary closure of Indiana Avenue Recycling Center due to illegal dumping

City of Goshen GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Goshen Environmental Department announced Friday that due to excessive illegal dumping, the Indiana Avenue Recycling Center will be closed from now until at least Monday, July 21.
Officials say they will reevaluate the situation Monday and decide whether to extend the closure through fair week or reopen.
City officials say illegal dumping defeats the purpose of having a recycling center and puts an unnecessary burden on community resources.
