LINCOLN TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- On Friday, at approximately 8:23 p.m., the Lincoln Township Fire Department responded to a report of a garage fire. Upon arrival, Chief Chiarello confirmed an active fire in the attached garage, which had extended into the attic.
According to a press release, firefighters from multiple departments, including Lincoln Township, Royalton Township, Lake Township, and Benton Harbor Public Safety, were called to the scene in a coordinated effort to contain the fire.
Thanks to the combined efforts of all responders, the fire was successfully extinguished, and additional measures were taken to prevent further damage.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
