Fulton County man wanted for Child Molesting arrested Tuesday

FULTON COUNTY, Ind. -- The Fulton County Sheriff's Office was able to locate a man wanted on Child Abuse charges while serving a search warrant in the 300 block of N. Monroe St. in Fulton on Tuesday.

Authorities say they established probable cause to believe 33-year-old Zachariah D. Cook of Rochester, was on the property. Cook had several outstanding arrest warrants through Fulton County including Level 1 and Level 4 Child Molesting, along with various misdemeanor offenses.

"Cook attempted to elude officers and was located hiding in a shed. He refused deputies verbal commands to exit," authorities said. "K9 Deputy Dulin deployed his K9 partner, Agi, to assist with the apprehension. Cook was transported to Woodlawn Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and later booked at the Fulton County Jail for his active warrants."

Cook was also preliminary charged with Resisting Law Enforcement, Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Battery on a Law Enforcement Animal, and Possession of Marijuana.

Thirty-year-old Nicole L. Boardman, of Fulton was residing in the residence and was also arrested during the incident.

Boardman was lodged in the Fulton County Jail and preliminary charged with Obstructing Justice and Assisting a Criminal both level 6 felonies.
