ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, April 20, 2024
After a day that resembled fall more than spring, our lows will bottom out around freezing tonight with partly cloudy skies overhead. Patchy frost is possible, especially in northeast Michiana closer to the IN/OH border. Any plants that are sensitive to the cold should be covered up tonight to avoid potential buildup. Our highs start to climb back towards seasonal values tomorrow with most areas seeing the upper 50s as well as abundant sunshine. The upward temperature trend continues on Monday as we reach into the mid 60s, although rain chances spike Monday night. Widespread showers are likely to begin Monday overnight and develop into a steadier rain by Tuesday afternoon. The rain wraps up Wednesday morning, but highs suffer a hit from the cooler air present.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 34.
Sunday: Sunny. High 56.
Monday: Overcast. High 66.
Tuesday: Showers. High 64.
