South Bend Community Police Review Board met Thursday night
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- Indiana Police are launching an investigation into an employee with Triton schools over allegations of inappropriate conduct.
In a letter to Triton parents and guardians, Superintendent of the Triton School Corporation Jeremy Riffle identified the employee as Teacher and Head Football Coach Zach Whittaker.
Whittaker was put on administrative leave but has since resigned from his position.
Riffle says school administrators were recently made aware of Whittaker's possible relationship with a now former student, and that information legally required a report be made to state agencies.
Indiana State Police are now investigating.
