SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A few weeks ago, ABC57 Kickoff had Irish Legend Manti Teo and the head of the Fitzgerald Institute of Real Estate Mike O'Malley on to talk about the growing popularity of real estate at Notre Dame.
It's considered the fastest growing minor right now with more than 500 students enrolled.
Former offensive linemen Josh Lugg, Tommy Kraemer, and Cole Mabry took those real estate classes when they were students and now -- the former teammates have returned to South Bend for a new partnership, a business venture called Golden Legacy Partners.
The full-service real estate investment, brokerage, and management team sprouted from conversations had in the Notre Dame locker room.
South Bend is no longer just their college town, it's home.
