SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- This morning, June 6, former Mayor of South Bend Jerry Miller was laid to rest at Southlawn Cemetery.
His funeral was held at Saint Mathew Cathedral in South Bend with family greeting guests at 9 a.m.
"We're here today to offer supplications prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings to Jerry Miller, but in truth the church itself has been offering prayers for families for decades. As mayor of the city, and leader in the community, we pray that he and all who govern us, be good shepherds of the people they serve," says the pastor of Miller's service.
