ABC57 confirmed Trent Babcock of Niles and his wife are accused of stealing from a Sam’s Club store in Mishawaka back in April.
The couple allegedly walked out with $250 dollars in items they didn't pay for.
Then-Lieutenant Trent Babcock was fired by the Berrien County Sheriff's Office for stealing from the Niles Walmart back in 2017.
In 2022, Babcock pleaded guilty to taking $11,000 from a non-profit wrestling club he ran in the Niles area. Babcock spent 30 days in jail for that incident.
