SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Join the St. Joe County Public Library for the Flashback Book Fair at the downtown branch to help raise funds for the library's Summer Reading Club.

Flip through stacks of books, grab a drink, discover classic book fair treasures, play retro games, and relive the magic of book fairs from your past. The first event begins with a 21+ night of celebration on May 1 from 6:30 to 10 p.m., you can purchase tickets here. On May 2, the fun continues from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (no tickets required) with events for the whole family.

What to expect:

• DJ Big Perm spinning from 7 to 9 p.m.
• Retro games and classic video games
• Themed drinks
• Throwback book fair books and gift items for sale
• Books for "Grown Ups" available for purchase from Brain Lair Books

All funds go toward purchasing high-quality books for children who participate in the Library’s Summer Reading Club
