CASS COUNTY, Mich. — The Penn Township Planning Commission held a special meeting Tuesday evening to address residents’ concerns raised during the May 11 Penn Township board meeting.
The commission had originally proposed a 30-day moratorium, but residents said a one-year moratorium would give board members more time to establish policies and procedures before approving any large-scale development.
Board members plan to vote on the proposed one-year moratorium at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 21.
