Fire investigators look for answers at scene of deadly LaPorte Avenue fire

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- There are new developments tonight in the investigation into the South Bend fire that claimed the lives of six children over a month ago.

Investigators were at the home on LaPorte avenue today working to get closer to finding out exactly what caused the deadly fire.

Not only were inspectors out there today, but there are also some people placing even more stuffed animals at the site. Now, six weeks since the tragic fire, neighbors in the area say they hope the outcome of this investigation provides some sort of closure.
