SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Firefighters are looking for the cause of a fire that damaged a South Bend home.
It started around 4 a.m. Wednesday
Investigators say the fire started in the rear of the home.
Six adults were inside the home when the fire started, but they all made it out on their own.
No one was hurt.
Four pets also made it out safely.
Firefighters say there was significant damage to the home, which will be unlivable for some time.
Officials will contact the American Red Cross to help the family.
