MICHIGAN -- The FBI Director announced Friday morning that the agency thwarted "a potential terrorist attack" in Michigan. 

In a post on X, FBI Director Kash Patel said multiple people were arrested in the alleged plot. 

Patel said those involved were allegedly planning a violent attack over the Halloween weekend in Michigan. 

Details are very slim about the foiled potential terrorist attack, but Patel said that more information will be released soon.
