The Heat Advisory continues for the entire are through Friday. The heat index is expected to peak each day between 95-100. Humidity also remains high through the week, even at night, where lows rarely get below 70 degrees. The lack of cooling at night is the biggest threat for the heat wave.
Pop-up showers tonight could leave some remnants in the early morning hours Wednesday, much like today we could see a pop-up storm in the afternoon as well. The warming trend continues into the weekend, highs in the mid-90s. A cool off begins on Sunday with a frontal system pushing through bringing rain and cooler temperatures. Pleasant start of next week with another run in the high-80s mid-week.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 76.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. Chance for showers in afternoon. High 94.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 94.
Friday: Mostly clear. High 96.
