ELKHART, Ind. – Officers arrived on the scene of a home in the 1500 block of Laurelwood Drive after a call came in regarding a shooting with injuries at 8:13 p.m. on Sunday.
According to officers, a 36 year old man was found with a gunshot wound but was later pronounced deceased.
After securing the scene, Detectives from the Elkhart County Homicide Unit were called in to investigate.
According to officials, there is no threat to the public and no arrests have been made.
