The City of Elkhart ELKHART, Ind. --The City of Elkhart has opened warming centers for anyone in need of a safe place to stay warm this winter.
Fait Mission, located at 801 Benham Avenue, will be open 24 hours a day and a weather amnesty program will be available for overnight housing for all ages.
Guidance Ministries, located at 216 North Second Street, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will provide food, personal hygiene, and shelter.
