Eight people hurt in crash on SR 13 in Elkhart County

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A crash on State Road 13 in Middlebury left eight people injured Tuesday morning.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department, the crash happened just after 5:30 a.m. on the bridge over the Indiana Toll Road.
The two vehicles involved were a green passenger car and a SUV.
Six of the victims were in the passenger car and two in the SUV. There is no word on their conditions.
The southbound lanes of SR 13 have reopened.
