Eastbound lane closure on Glenlord Road starts Wednesday

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Road Department announced Glenlord Road will be closed to eastbound traffic between Ridge Road and Red Arrow Highway for construction, starting Wednesday.

Work being done includes resurfacing with hot mix asphalt following roadway milling.

Only westbound traffic will be allowed during construction, but motorists should expect possible delays.

Weather permitting, officials expect the work to last for two days.

Motorists heading east must take the detour route or seek alternative routes during construction.

Officials say if you need to travel this segment of road to reach property or Stewart Elementary School you must enter Glenlord Road from the Red Arrow Highway intersection and exit Glenlord Road toward or from Ridge Road.

You can find further information and updates on the road department's website.
