Wet and cool conditions will persist throughout the day as rain continues. Winds remain breezy, reaching 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph this afternoon, and will stay breezy into the evening. Tonight, lows will drop to the mid-40s across much of Michiana.
As we begin the work week, expect dry and sunny conditions, though temperatures will remain cool, with highs only reaching the low 40s. The rest of the week will see a gradual drop in temperatures.
Dry conditions won’t last long, as rain is expected to return on New Year’s Eve. There’s also a slight chance of mixed precipitation overnight on Tuesday. Temperatures will turn colder as we welcome 2025, with highs dropping into the 30s and eventually the 20s. Snow could make a return to the forecast as well.
