Driver killed in accident on Pierce Road

A 20-year-old man from Lakeville died in an accident between his vehicle and a box truck Friday afternoon.
The accident happened on Pierce Road at US 31 just outside of Lakeville.
The driver of the sedan died on the way to the hospital, according to police on scene.
Pierce Road was closed for several hours during the investigation. The road reopened at approximately 6:15 p.m.
