Driver hits construction equipment on Lasalle Avenue

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A driver went through a construction area on Lasalle Avenue, near Corby's Irish Pub around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.
That driver hit a parked piece of construction equipment, according to reports.
The driver has since been transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
