Dispatch confirms shooting on Pearl Street in Elkhart

ELKHART, Ind. – A shooting in Elkhart happened on February 19 on Pearl Street. The call came in at 8:25 p.m.
A 25-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were taken to the hospital with apparent gunshot wounds to the legs, according to Elkhart Police.
Police say that the victims' injuries are non life-threatening and they are expected to be okay.
The victims told police that they were shot by unknown black males.
It is unclear if there are any known suspects.
