Police were called to an apartment complex in Clermont County, Ohio just west of Cincinnati at approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officials say around 10:37 p.m. the suspect, barricaded inside of an apartment complex, allegedly started firing shots.
One deputy with the SWAT team is in stable condition, another deputy passed away, according to officials.
According to the Clermont Sheriff's Department, a suspect is now in custody,
The names of the deputies have yet to be released.
Capt. Jeff Sellers from the Clermont County Sheriff's Office said, "At approximately 22:37 hundred hours, shots were heard from inside the apartment. The members of SRT were near the apartment. Two deputies from the Clermont Sheriff's Department were struck. One is in stable condition. The other deputy has passed away."
