Deputies investigating fatal crash in LaPorte county

ABC 57 LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- At approximately 1:09 p.m. the LaPorte county police department responded to reports a motor vehicle crash on 11500 west block of C.R 400 North.
When deputies arrived they located a vehicle that was engulfed in flames and that a child was inside. Deputies were unable to safely approach the vehicle due to the intense flames. The fire was put out several moments later.
A 10 month old passed away due to the blaze.
