Deputies investigating fatal crash in LaPorte county

ABC 57 LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- At approximately 1:09 p.m. the LaPorte County Police Department responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on 11500 west block of C.R. 400 North.
When deputies arrived, they located a vehicle that was engulfed in flames and that a child was inside.
Deputies were unable to safely approach the vehicle due to the intense flames, but the fire was put out several moments later.
A 10-month-old passed away due to the blaze.
