Deputies conducting death investigation

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation after a man was found with suspicious injuries in the 200 block of Johnson Road Monday morning.
At 1:11 a.m. deputies were called to the residence in reference to an injury to a man that was suspicious.
When deputies arrived, they found a man who was unconscious. He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Deputies say there is no danger or risk to the public.
