ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Councilman Dan Schaetzle has been approved to run for re-election for 2026.
The Judge denied GOP Party member Griffin Nate's challenge to Schaetzle's candidacy, which claimed Schaetzle was ineligible to run as a Republican after he made a leadership deal with the council's Democratic minority in 2025.
Dan Schaetzle has filed his bid for re-election and will appear on May's primary ballots.
