Culver schools extend virtual learning schedule

MARSHAL COUNTY, Ind. – Culver Community Schools has announced that their eLearning schedule will be extended beyond Thanksgiving. This decision was made due to not knowing COVID-19 test results for staff.

On November 22nd they announced the schools would go to virtual learning for Monday and Tuesday, providing an update on Thanksgiving Day.

Without the test results of their staff members that were in close contact with a known positive person, the schools have decided to continue with virtual learning from November 30th through December 4th.

Classroom times are from 10 a.m. to 3:12 p.m. (3 p.m. for Elementary) each day.

Preschool will be open during that week for students in Ms. Bailey and Mrs. Faulk’s classes, with a normal bus route pickup.

Vocational students will be taken to Knox with a pickup time between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m.

The schools are providing breakfast and lunch meals to families who fill out a survey, though it must be completed by midnight on Saturday, November 28th.

Bus drivers will be delivering this food between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 30th.
