Schools in Culver going virtual before Thanksgiving

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – Culver Community Schools Corporation announced Sunday night that classes will be held virtually on November 23rd and 24th. This decision has been made due to many members of staff being exposed to COVID-19 through close contacts.

According to superintendent Karen Shuman, there are no known positives but many of the employees are waiting on test results and some are sick.

Student courses will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

All extracurricular activities at the middle and high school will continue as scheduled, with all elementary after school activities being canceled.

Food service will not be available at the school on these days.

The school has said they will communicate an update on Thanksgiving Day.
