The calm before an icy storm
Highs stay generally at or above average today in the afternoon, peaking around 60 degrees with mostly sunny skies overhead. Winds are about as breezy as yesterday as Michiana finds itself between two separate centers of pressure to the north and south. Tonight, lows trickle to near 40 degrees with a slight chance for a few possible evening showers. The cooldown begins tomorrow; high temperatures reach the mid 50s as skies become cloudier due to an incoming trough from the west. Rain chances remain at or below 20% until Halloween, but the spookiest day of the year may contain some lake-enhanced rain showers during prime trick-or-treat hours.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 60.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 40.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 57.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 54.
