Visit South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The LaSalle Grill in South Bend confirmed they will be closing permanently on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Built in 1868, it first opened as the St. Joseph Hotel—making it the oldest surviving commercial building in the city.

Since 1991, LaSalle Grill has carried on the tradition of hospitality, earning AAA Four Diamond Awards year after year.

The historic details included high ceilings and neoclassical columns, and the dining room even doubled as a rotating gallery for local artists.

The restaurant will not be taking reservations at this time.

No further information on the closing has been confirmed.
